PRESENTATION
The Principality of Asturias, promoter of the Technology Park, has designated
IDEPA as its managing body. IDEPA works
constantly for the consolidation of this innovative business enclave and opening it up to new
Spanish and international projects and markets.
Given the character of the Park, its development involves, to different degrees, all the
departments of IDEPA, although the following deserve special emphasis:
The Industrial Infrastructure Department fundamentally
carries out activities related to buildings, infrastructure development, the networks and basic
services of the Park. These include attending to queries related to the technical characteristics
of the different plots, the valuation of planning aspects of requests or preparation of reports on
building projects presented by companies and their fulfilment of the specific regulations of the
Park.

The Innovation & Internationalization
Department takes part in the valuation of the innovative aspects of requests received and
develops R+D+i and technological cooperation promotion policies between companies in the Park in
collaboration with national and international networks.
The Technology Park of Asturias, as a member of APTE and through the Business Innovation Department offers
companies installed in the Park a series of services aimed at promotion of R&D, cooperation
between companies and technology transfer.
