The institutional enclave of the Technology Park of Asturias accommodates several organisms that promote business and provide support for investments and are responsible for carrying out the business promotion policies of the regional Government.
IDEPA
INSTITUTO DE DESARROLLO ECONÓMICO DEL PRINCIPADO DE ASTURIAS
IDEPA, created in 1983, is a public entity that aims to modernise and diversify the business framework in Asturias and to obtain a balanced and sustainable development in the region. To achieve this, IDEPA works in two main directions: to capture new investment and to improve company competitiveness in the region by implanting management systems for quality, design, innovation, internationalisation, etc.
SRP
SOCIEDAD REGIONAL DE PROMOCIÓN
The Regional Business Promotion Body (SRP) is a public body for risk capital which acts by participating temporarily in the social capital of companies as a minority partner, allowing the entrepreneur to maintain the control of his/her company and to seek short-term or long-term disinvestment once they have consolidated their project.
ASTURGAR
SOCIEDAD DE GARANTÍA RECÍPROCA DE ASTURIAS
The Mutual Guarantee Society of Asturias is a non-profit financial entity that provides easier access to finance for small and medium sized companies in Asturias by granting guarantees. It was founded in 1982 and has the Principality of Asturias, financial organisations and business associations as its protecting partners.
ASTUREX
SOCIEDAD DE PROMOCIÓN EXTERIOR DEL PRINCIPADO DE ASTURIAS
Asturex is a regional body charged with exploring new markets and with assessing Asturian companies that are planning to export.
