Centro Tecnológico de Materiales no Metálicos

The ITMA Foundation offers support for applied research, development and innovation to industry through this Centre, and provides technology solutions to different industrial sectors.

 

It temporarily houses the Research Center on Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology (CINN).

 

Centro Europeo de Empresas e Innovación del Principado de Asturias (CEEI Asturias)

BIC Asturias is an incubator for technology-strong businesses and offers both material (premises, equipment, services, etc) and non-material support (advice, information, training, etc) which is required to set up and launch a new innovative business venture. It is part of the European Business and Innovation Centre Networks (EBN) which includes 150 BICs.

 

The forthcoming extension of the BIC Asturias building will provide the Technology Park of Asturias with a Bio-Incubator, specifically designed for new bio-technology companies.

 

Centro SAT

The SAT Centre in Llanera, located in the BIC Asturias building, belongs to the SAT Centre Network financed by IDEPA. It provides assessment and support with technology transfer to promote the innovative strategy of Asturian SMEs, from gaining presence on the Internet and online marketing, mobility strategies and internal management, etc. It completes the range of services with digital certificates or e-business certificates, which assess and certify the degree of digital maturity of companies, by analysing their procedures and infrastructures.
